About Me

I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but I moved to Auburn, Alabama in May 2017 to pursue my Master's degree is Food Science from Auburn University. I have enjoyed the challenge that graduate school has provided thus far. I have learned how research should be conducted, how to manage and be part of a team, as well as new tasks in a laboratory setting. I have a passion for animals and food science and my future goal is to have a job in the animal feed industry. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Poultry Science Association

San Antonio, TX 2018

A nutritional broiler trial using additional amounts of choline chloride was conducted in     at the Charles C. Miller Poultry Research and Education Center. Upon conclusion of the study, an abstract was submitted to the Poultry Science Association (PSA) for approval to present at their annual meeting. I luckily received an opportunity to present at the PSA meeting that was held in July 2018 in San Antonio, TX in the graduate student oral competition. I have attended the PSA meeting as an attendee, but never as a presenter.
